Privacy notice

STIX Duel is operated by Michael Hensel, Hamburg, Germany (the "operator"). This notice explains what data this website and the STIX Duel game collect and why. Contact: hello@stixduel.com.

What we collect on the website

• Email address, when you sign up for the beta or reserve a place. Stored by Formspree (form processing) and, for the founder list, in Mailchimp (email delivery). Used only to send the beta and launch emails you asked for. Unsubscribe from any email with one click.
• Payment data for the Founder Ticket and the Founder Pass is handled entirely by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., our payment processor. We never see your card number. Stripe's privacy notice applies to the payment.
• Usage analytics through Google Analytics 4 with advertising storage disabled. IP addresses are anonymised by Google. You can block analytics with a content blocker or the Global Privacy Control signal.

What the game collects

The game stores your progress (belts, coins, settings, the last knockout replay) on your device only. Sharing a knockout renders a video on your device and hands it to the app you choose; nothing is uploaded by us. In-app purchases go through Google Play or the Apple App Store and RevenueCat, which validates receipts; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id and the purchase receipt, never your name.

Legal basis and your rights

Emails and purchases: performance of a contract and your consent. Analytics: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can ask for a copy or deletion of your data at any time by email; we answer within 30 days. You may complain to the Hamburg data protection authority (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte fuer Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

Children

The game is rated 12+ (Apple) and Teen (Google). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 and do not run personalised ads.
